I put my 2 weeks off last month to good use. As long as the the garage was a comfortable temperature, I was working on the helicopter. I completed the fan & fan drive fab & installation, Fitted the instrument panel and started installing the instruments & radios. Started on the cooling system. Installed the reverse cooling kit on the engine. I had to drill & tap the 2 plugs (for the new fittings). Couldnt get them out with heat and an impact driver.
NOTE : Napa auto supply has the correct taps for less than $5 each.
1/4″ -18 NPT thread is part number T-302
1/8″ -27 NPT thread is part number T-301
