American Helicopters were selling rides for $40 and many took advantage.
The owners of one of the jet rangers and Carol, a local and owner of one of the Bell 47’s were giving rides for the fun of it.
Saturday night included a large bonfire where Texas size marshmellows were roasted on very long branches and tall tales were passed around. Burgers, hotdogs and tri-tip sandwiches were available all weekend from a mobile grill provided by Brenda’s family and boyfriend.
A raffle was held with Lo winning 6 prizes, anyone need a socket set????
A great time was had by all as the weather was perfect this year; even though 2” of snow fell the day before we arrived on Friday, but the wind had taken it all away!
A special thank you to Hap and Nancy and their family for sharing their lovely little bit of heaven near Yosemite.
