Air Ride Technologies – Club Simulator – by Mike Woolson

Last Friday I talked to a rep from a out Air Ride Technologies, they are the big dogs that started the hole air suspension craze for custom cars back in the 1990′s.
I asked several questions about the system they market and it’s not much different than what we have on the Simulator, The airlines they use 1/4 ID 3/8 OD the same as we have on the rest of the pneumatic system with the exception of the airbag that I’m guessing might be 3/8 ID, the current large lines.

The system they use regulates the airflow on entrance to the bag,we regulate the flow on the exhaust so that’s the only difference between the Two. I have been doing some brain storming and thinking maybe the airlines going from the roll valve to airbags might have to much air free flowing (just brainstorming)but it works as is so leave it and proceed as planned. I just thought I should throw that into the ring to help clarify what we have been doing, giving us a pat on the back.

I forgot to say the opperating system PSI is 80-100. The 1/4ID X3/8 OD is what (THEY) use,(WE)have rubber hoses of around 3/8 ID thats why I was brain storming over the back pressure being to free flowing.
