Across The Editors Desk – Three New Guys have join us

This past week, we have had three new members to the club, this brings our membership up to about 60. So please welcome:

Jimmy Hagland – Birmingham, AL

Jorge Rodriqez – Beyamon, Puerto Rico

David Gesinger – Richmond, Calif.

Although Jimmy and Jorge live to far away for San Francisco Bay Area – David is in our back yard. Here’s hoping David will join us in some of our club meetings and planed outings.

While we are on the subject of club meetings and outings, the board of directors is thinking about having 4 meetings a year that may including – weather depending -  fly-ins. The other months we as a club will go to outing such as musiums, airshows, USS Hornet and more. Right now we have about 10 places in mind to visit as an Adventurous outing.

Everyone’s input on this idea is welcome, just make a reply in the comments box below.

As many new people my not know, the Sierra RotorCraft Club is made up of people that have interest in Helicopters and Gyro-copters. We have several members that have helicopters, (I for one have an Rotorway Exec. Experimental helicopter) and a few that have flying gyro-copters. There are many guys that are either building a rotorcraft or are in the process of thinking about getting one.

    Hi
The plan sounds good to me. I live so far away that I can only try to make some of them but it sound good If I was closer.
