Author Club Dues Article – Last week I published an article dealing with Club dues which received quit a few comments. Several of the comments were not posted until many of you had read the article. I think it would be beneficial if you guys would go back and read these comments. $5.00 !??? Don’t be cheap. Do $10. $10 for a year is still a bargain for staying in touch and keeping abreast of the local scene. It won’t break anyone when compared to gas and the overall cost of owning anything that flies.

“I’ve read the bylaws (helped write them) and there isn’t a direct requirement for a newsletter. Several items use a newsletter as a timing device.
The board has the latitude to diseminate information as necessary in any means.
A newsletter is the best way to do this and Jim has done a great job keeping things going.
They were originally set up so they wouldn’t have to be ammended every time something changes.
Personally we feel everyone should pay dues.
